Guide for Authors

GUIDE FOR AUTHORS

The authors are requested to submit their papers electronically using the online submission instructions available on the website (https://amme.razi.ac.ir/). This site guides the authors stepwise through the submission process. No other method is allowed for the authors.

When submitting your paper, ensure that the following items are present:

1- One author has been designated as the corresponding author with contact details (E-mail and Full postal address)

2- All necessary files have been uploaded.

Prepare your manuscript according to the journal template which can be found here.

Further considerations

- The manuscript has been “spell checked” and “grammar checked”. Note that language-focused copy editing is the authors' responsibility before submission.

- Prepare the manuscript for “masked review” to avoid revealing your identity. Whenever possible, please use author names and references for self-citations, but make sure that you use a third person to discuss the work.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Ethics in publishing: Ensure to obey all the necessary ethical codes in your publication.

Declaration of interest: All authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence (bias) their work.

Conflict Responsibilities: The primary author's responsibility is to ensure that all authors in their papers have registered institutional conflicts in the submission system. If a paper is found to have an undeclared or incorrect institutional conflict, it may be rejected.

Double-blind review: AMME review is double-blind in that the authors do not know the names of the reviewers of their papers, and the reviewers cannot infer the names of the authors from the submission and the additional material. Do not provide information that may identify the authors in the acknowledgments and supplemental materials. Also do not provide links to websites that identify the authors. Violation of any of these guidelines may lead to rejection without review.

Plagiarism: Plagiarism consists of appropriating the words or results of others without credit. The journal's policy on plagiarism is to refer suspected cases to the corresponding official committee.
